Access to the Forest using public transport
By Train
Trains run regularly to East
Grinstead station from London Victoria and London Bridge stations and
are operated by Southern Railways.
By Bus
Bus routes in East & West
Sussex are operated by METROBUS who run three services which cross
parts of the Forest. These include:
Service 261 East Grinstead to Uckfield, stops at Forest Row and Wych Cross (with some routes including Colemans Hatch, which passes The Forest Centre). Service 291 East Grinstead to Tunbridge Wells, stopping at Forest Row and Hartfield Service 270 East Grinstead to Haywards Heath, stopping at Forest Row, Wych Cross and Chelwood Gate. By Taxi
