THE FOREST - WAR AND CONFLICT
|
Few areas can have the association with things military over such as sustained period of time as Ashdown Forest. For 2000 years it has been home to armies, a site for weapons manufacture and a place of testament to conflict and threat, at local, national and international level. This exhibition, containing documents and artifacts, is a fascinating review of this aspect of Forest history. |
