Having an Ashdown Forest Riding Permit gives you access to over 81 miles of safe, varied and very beautiful riding and, with over 6,500 acres, (10 square miles) you could easily ride all day. There are, on average, 400+ adults with permits to ride and approx 50 children per year. There are also four licensed riding establishments who have special permission to lead hacks out onto the Forest.
